I might add that I'd not seen in this blog anyone mention that the behavior is temperature dependent, more frequent in cooler weather. The clicking was explained as something to do with the system undergoing diagnostics. The issue smelled like firmware to me, having developed software and firmware interacting with actual mechanical devices for 25 years. Today the dealer explained that GM wants no boosters replaced, and that a firmware fix will be issued 1st quarter of 2021. They had ordered to brake booster about a month ago after I had explained the problem directly to the tech. Just got my 2017 Bolt back from the dealer today. Did that help get the problem fixed? I'm out of the 3/36 warranty by time. I've seen in other threads people have called Chevy.

Anyway I noticed the noise will stop if I just barely hit the pedal. Naturally it didn't happen during my test drive or I thought it was some weird EV thing. However that clicking brake booster noise has popped up. So far it's been awesome and I'm really enjoying it.
